My Choices

In a world that is always moving, a clear and calm home can create room to breathe. Choosing fewer, better things. Creating simple routines. Surrounding yourself with objects that bring ease, beauty and purpose to everyday life.

Each design is made to become a natural part of these moments. Objects for the morning coffee, a quiet pause, a shared meal or time spent on your own. Thoughtful materials, refined finishes and considered colours bring warmth and calm to the home.

At Stelton, we believe good design should earn its place, through function, quality and lasting relevance. Rooted in our design heritage, we create objects that are made to be used, enjoyed and kept over time.

Welcome to My Choices—making space for what matters.

There is value in keeping things simple. Choosing well, creating space and finding calm in the everyday. In the objects we use, the routines we return to and the moments we make our own.

Steel

Stainless steel has been an important part of Stelton’s DNA for decades. The material is central to our design history and to our understanding of design that brings together function, durability, and aesthetics.

Steel can be shaped with great precision. It is strong, has a simple, timeless expression, and can naturally become part of everyday routines for years to come. This is why we return to the material again and again – from cups and travel mugs to the bottle of a carbonator.

Good design is not only about how a design looks when new, but also how it functions, feels, and becomes a natural part of everyday life.

Water makes the difference

A good cup of coffee begins long before you pour water over freshly ground beans. It begins with the water itself. Coffee is made up largely of water, which is why its taste, mineral content, and temperature have such an important influence on the final cup.

At Stelton, water and coffee are a natural part of everyday rituals. We believe that good results emerge from the meeting of knowledge, quality ingredients, and functional design. Design that is simple to use, comfortable to hold, and made to become part of everyday life – day after day.

A closer look at pour-over coffee

A pour-over dripper allows you to follow the brewing process closely. The method is simple, yet leaves room for focus and small adjustments.

Start with freshly ground beans. As a guide, use around 60 grams of coffee per litre of water, then adjust the amount to suit your taste. The grind should be medium, roughly the texture of coarse sand. If the water runs through the coffee too quickly, try a finer grind. If the brew is too slow, use a coarser grind.

Rinse the paper filter with hot water before adding the coffee. This removes any paper taste and warms the dripper and carafe at the same time. Then pour a small amount of water over the coffee, ensuring all the grounds are saturated, and wait for around 30 seconds. This first stage is known as blooming and allows carbon dioxide trapped in the freshly ground coffee to escape.

Continue pouring the water slowly and steadily in small circles. Avoid pouring directly onto the sides of the filter where possible. A calm, even movement helps create an even extraction, while giving the brewing process the particular rhythm that makes pour-over coffee more than a practical routine.

A fresh pause between cups

Sparkling water is a natural complement to coffee. Its freshness and fine bubbles provide a light counterpoint to the depth of coffee, helping to cleanse the palate between sips and allowing its different notes to come through more clearly.

With the Brus carbonator, you can adjust the carbonation level to your taste and make fresh sparkling water whenever you like. Serve it in Pilastro glasses, where the fluted structure adds a simple, graphic detail to the coffee ritual.

Together, coffee and sparkling water create a small pause in everyday life, centred on taste, function, and considered materials.
