JEHS+LAUB

German designers Markus Jehs and Jürgen Laub have worked together since meeting as students of Industrial Design at the University of Design in Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany. Their collaboration is defined by a clear approach to form and function, creating designs where simplicity, proportion and practical use are closely connected.
After graduating in 1992, they established the design studio Jehs+Laub and have since collaborated with leading international brands across furniture, lighting and everyday objects. Their work has received numerous international design awards and has been presented in exhibitions around the world.
For Stelton, Jehs+Laub designed the Stelton Time wall clock, a functional object with a strong graphic presence. Rather than relying on a conventional clock face, the design is reduced to a circular frame, central disc and hands. As time passes, the clock face itself rotates, subtly changing the composition and giving the object a different character throughout the day.
Stelton Time reflects Jehs+Laub’s ability to turn a familiar everyday function into a precise and distinctive design object.
