Søren Refsgaard graduated from the Design Seminariet in Højer, Denmark, in 2003 and established his own design studio in Copenhagen later that same year. Rooted in the Danish design tradition, he works with a clear and refined design language, where function, proportions and materials are carefully balanced. His designs are characterised by a refined and timeless expression and an uncompromising ability to remove everything unnecessary.

He is behind some of Stelton’s most successful designs, including the Brus carbonator, the Pier lamp and the SR series.
