The Amphora electric kettle takes its name from the ancient Greek clay vessels that were used for storing oil and wine. The Danish designer, Sebastian Holmbäck drew his inspiration for the kettle from the round body and distinctive shoulders of the amphora, but with a definite futuristic touch. Maintenance:
(Elkedeler), Wipe the outside of the jug with water and detergent using a soft, damp cloth. Dry using a soft cloth or tea towel. Never use scouring powder or other cleaning agents with an abrasive effect, as this will scratch the surface. The electric kettle and filter must be descaled regularly and cleaned from limescale sediment.
