Aztec
Don Wallance
"Aztec" was designed in 1965 and represents a symbol of delicate, accentuated cutlery form-language. Aztec has all of the characteristics of its decade to become a classical icon. Its carefully rounded edges give a comfortable feeling as soon as it is placed in ones hand and the thin shafts at the top of the handles give it a sort of unrivaled lightness. Aztec is part of Don Wallance's complete design archive exhibited in the permanent collection of The Cooper-Hewitt Museum in New York.
